The Time is NOW!

The continued unchecked momentum of foreclosures in this country is affecting much more than the financial institutions balance sheets. Displaced families create a cascading effect of economic stress on household finances, children’s education, and the mental well being of parents and head of household.

The financial institutions appear to be struggling with implementing stimulus funding to families in need. Still many families continue to be subjected to increases in monthly loan payments and are unable to find sympathetic assistance in controlling their financial despair. As banks try to find a solution to stop (or slowdown) the tide of real estate foreclosures, more households’ collapse which continue the downward spiral of property values and rise of foreclosures.

We find it very crucial that assistance programs be implemented as soon as possible. Creative solutions are required in this time of great complexity. We believe an alternative solution can be derived from the key stakeholders in this case: families, financial institutions, realtors, government agencies, credit counseling, job banks and nonprofit services.
